Monsanto is responsible for many tons of toxic waste that was dumped into waterways such as Choccolocco Creek, located near the town of Anniston, Alabama. They made Agent Orange, too!
Formerly known as British Petroleum, BP is responsible for the explosion of the Deepwater Horizon oil rig and the resulting spill of nearly 200 million gallons into the Gulf of Mexico.
Dow Chemical Company is responsible for poisoning portions of the Tittabawassee River in the state of Michigan. They also have unmet responsibilities to the victims of the disaster in Bhopal.
The spill of the Exxon Valdez fouled much of the Alaska’s pristine Prince William Sound. The highly profitable business is also responsible for nearly a nearly 20 million gallon spill in and around Brooklyn’s not-so-pristine Newton Creek .
